The purpose news items text is to inform readers about daily events that are worthy of consideration or importance.
Structure of News Item
Headline
The title of a story in a newspapper and written in three styles : using ALL CAPS, Down style or Up style. *note : letter capitalization is based off its examples.
Background of the event
The part that covers the story and includes additional information.
Summary of the event
Gives readers the most important information and establishes the voice of the article.
Source
Someone or something that provides timely information.
There are two parts of source : primary (someone at the centre of the event) and secondary (someone who passes the news on).

Where we find the news?
1) Newspaper
A newspaper is lightweight, disposable publication, usually printed on low-cost paper called newsprint, containing the latest news on various topics. The topics can be political events, crime, sports, editorials, weather. Newspaper also usually contain caricatures which are usually used as satire through pictures regarding certain issues, comics, crossword puzzles and other entertaiment.
2) Television Station
A television station is a broadcasting station that distributes its broadcasts in the form of audio and video together to television receivers in certain areas. Television stations are divided into several types, namely commercial television stations and non-commercial television stations, public, local and national television stations, judging from the coverage.
3) Radio
Radio is technology used to transmit signals by means of modulation and electromagnetic radiation (electromagnetic waves). These waves pass, and propagate through the air, and can also propagate through the vacum of space, because these waves do not require a carrier medium (such as air molecules).
4) Social media
Social media is an online that is used by each other where users can easily participate, interact, share, and create content for blogs, social networks, wikis, forums, and virtual worlds without being limited by space and time. Blogs, social networks and wikis are the most common forms of social media used by people around the world.
