Hello, everyone today we will next our lesson about procedure text, in part 2 we will learn and talk about generic structure of procedure text and more focus on procedure text typo 'How To Do'
Structure Of Procedure Text
In making a procedure text, there is a structure that needs to be considered, namely :
- Goal/aim (goal)
Generally, in procedure text the goal has been stated in the title or headline. For example : How to Make Simple Fried Rice.
- Materials
Contains a list of materials needed to perform a procedure or steps.
- Steps
Contains a list of sequences of instructions for making or operating something.
- Result
The result of a series of steps that have been carried out.
What is 'How To Do'
'How To Do' is one of many type of procedure text, in this type will explain how you do things!
Procedures to be better and achieve something you wanr.
Activity 3 :
HOW TO USE A RICE COOKER
To cook rice using a rice
cooker is a simple way that everybody can do it. Yup, with simple instructions
below, you can cook rice using a rice cooker by yourself. The instructions are
listed below:
Steps:
- 1. Make sure the rice cooker is in good
condition.
- 2.
Wash the pan first.
- 3.
Measure of rice that will be cooked using a
measuring cup and then put them into the pan.
- 4.
Add water as much as the amount of rice that
will be cooked.
- 5.
Plug in and then press on the cook button of
the rice cooker.
- 6. Wait until the rice cooked that is marked
with the cook button on the rice cooker rising up by itself.
- 7.
Wait about 10-15 until the rice is
well-cooked.
- 8.
The rice is ready to serve.
